Sakura girl

It seems we’re getting a new single from NEWS. :D That’s been quite a long time, up until the point the fandom was scared NEWS was going to break up. The title makes me suspect something *Spring!Happy*.

I will try my best to keep the rain, darkness and bats in my coffin where they belong when I’m reviewing this thing. I do love Sakura though.. Now that’s something nobody is able to dislike.

There’s also a nasty rumour floating around about V6 breaking up.

Best Artist, MSSL encodes

I needed to update my master post, since it’s been quite some time. The following files are now available for download:

  • KAT-TUN – Medley (MSSL 2009.12.25)
  • NEWS – Koi no ABO (MSSL 2009.12.25)
  • NEWS – Koi no ABO Talk (MSSL 2009.12.25)
  • V6 & Kanjani8 – Medley (Best artist 2009.12.15)
  • NEWS & KAT-TUN – Medley (Best artist 2009.12.15)

They are all converted from *.ts (by moi) to retain quality but lower the file size some.

Johnny’s Countdown 2009-2010

Yay I got to see Countdown! Now the New Year is complete. A huge screencap collection ahead.

Yamapi really really looks good with the black hair back. <3 I know I said it three times already. Other things to be noticed:

  • Check out Sakamoto’s flex. 4th row, 3rd image. Not bad for an old guy huh? LOL.
  • Jin was harrassing Jun while Yamapi stays as focussed as ever, 3rd row from the bottom, 1st image.
  • Koki and Kame’s fan game (last 2 images).

VVV6 2009.10.30 Shabu Shabu

In preparation for my trip to Japan somewhere in 2010, I was wondering whether I would be capable of fishing out the restaurant names and locations from episodes of VVV6. The answer: Yes I Can. While it’s still tv variety Japanese (extremely fast to the ears) I catch a lot of it and could decipher most dishes as well as places. Not only that, I have info’s to their menu’s and can point you to the location in google maps. It’s times like these I seriously ♥ my oversized brain and the intarwebs. If there’s wonky Japanese in this entry, please correct it.

What is it?
Basically Shabu Shabu is boiling thin strips of meat or even fish in different kinds of broths.

On to: good places to eat Shabu Shabu by VVV6!
