Ran into a few articles about unemployed in Japan sleeping in internet café’s after being laid off and thrown from their corporately sponsored houses. Wth! Both Japan and the Netherlands have similar unemployment rates now, around 5%. The difference is, I’m not hearing about people having to sleep outside because of it. It’s been in the news since ages, but still. I still remember the blue tents from the last time I visited. Stats. Don’t let me whop out these because I swear I’m going to cry. I ies visiting a third world country.
