Yup, maybe if we’re lucky it’s a white christmas. Meanwhile when I attempted to get gas this morning, I couldn’t get the tank to open. It was so cold, apparently some moisture froze in there and I couldn’t get it open. So there I was holding my hands on the cap trying to get it to defrost.
I was not happy.
After about 3 minutes I could get it open. Told a coworker about it in an attempt at randomly socializing stupid stories. He said: “Well you can’t exactly hold a lighter against it, can you? Though it’ll open up for sure”.
I’m also not used to leaving the car in gear so I have to remind myself every morning to put it in neutral before I go. Pretty serious stuff when I’m still half asleep. The chance of that going wrong is pretty high. Then when I come back have to remind myself to put it in gear when parking. Of course since I’m not used to it, again, a very dangerous procedure. lol. For those that don’t drive or have no clue: do it wrong and your car heaves forward because dumdum you forgot to shut off the engine. Always a good idea then to not try to park it ‘like a glove’. The brakes actually froze to the wheels once so now I know to leave it in gear. The risk is real! LOL>

There was a hint of snow in here yesterday. If only I could stay at home and look at it through the window while I hug my hedgehog plushie wrapped hot water bottle, it would be just fine. As I have to go into the cold, cruel world to make my living, snow is certainly not welcome.
Oh noes, stop the snow until I leave for home for the hols!
Gears and cars, that fascinating subject. I started the car on neutral and drove like that like 15 metres on my first driving exam. Lol. Then I hear the examiner: “You know, if you put it into gear, it’ll go more smoothly”. Oh dear, dear.
