Code Blue 2

SEQUEL? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

:fuming:

This year seems to piss me off even in terms fandom.

I’m not alone. Yay. Though personally I blame the character development. Aizawa started out really good, ended really bad. First two episodes he had that little something viewers look for and then afterwards they made him too bland. I’m watching the sequel if there is any, just so I hope they won’t make the same mistake twice. I also had a problem with that Special, which was at least better, but had too many scene switches. Probably the director’s attempt to show the “chaos”, but fail.

Apparently this rumour’s been surfacing since october. Where was I?

You hadn’t heard of this? I was just waiting for it to be confirmed for a while now. Well, more like, dreading it. It’s all about the ratings, really. Just look at the ratings of the SP and compare them to any other drama these days. Ever since then I had a feeling this was meant to happen. Either this or a movie, which was also rumored. Possibly both.
I’m just happy we’ll get to see Yamapi on a weekly basis again. Not really happy about… all the rest. Including the hair, assuming he goes back to his Aizawa style. Out of all the dramas he’s been in this has to be the one I least wanted to see a second season of, that’s for sure.

I do know where I was beginning of October: afraid I was going to die (echo of my breast at the hospital). I knew there was a good reason this went past me.

    OH NOES!
    NOT A 2ND SEASON!
I had heard something here and there, but I just hoped it was all my wicked imagination :P I never liked hospital shows anyway, and this one was a real drag. I don’t think I’ll manage to get myself to watch it. I’m still gathering the courage to continue with “Buzzer Beat”.
Someone should really give him some sound advice on his acting career – or is it just my impression?

This happened to piss me off so much that I had to come out of the shadow to comment.

Ugh, as much as I like Yamapi, I really could’ve done without this. He isn’t the world’s best actor but in this drama he and the other characters were slow as hell and pretty much one dimensional.
Whatever expectations I had for this one were shot down with a freaking cruise missile and then burnt to a crisp in a pit of fire.

If the rumor is indeed true I might watch it, if I happen be in a masochistic state of mind.

After what I view as a rather tepid performance in KnS, I can’t say I’m looking forward to Kame in Gokusen 4. Plus… yeah, no Yankumi?? Have the fun in the Gokusen series was the Yakuza stuff!

Never did watch Code Blue, so I can’t comment on that.

  5. Tonks says:

Oh Snow, I know what you mean. I just don’t know what they’ll do without Yankumi. It’s just not Gokusen if she’s not there.

Though I did enjoy KnS, and I’m sure I would love to see Kame almost anywhere, any day. But I’d rather it were a new title if they are squeezing a dorama I liked to the last drop…

And just think about it. The very number 4 is just too much for a sequel XD

  6. Feles says:

Indeed Gokusen is dead and burried for as far as I’m concerned. They’ll really need to surprise me with numero quattro.

Please understand the character that Pi’s play in every drama. Since Nobuta drama , most of the drama he has to act cool in it . Tell me how many expression there’ll be?

I do understand that he’s not the best actor out there but if there’s new drama like Yamapi plays on Nobuta then only its fair for us to judge if he’s acting din improve at all.

By the way , Tonks , you’re nothing but crap. You dont have to gather your courage to watch the show , just leave it. Well , its your choice and our opinion anyway.
I’m off here. Bunch of lousy fans all around. :ill: :ill: :ill:

What exactly triggered you to assume that I or any of the commentators before you were talking about Yamapi being ‘expressionless’. I read all of this again, to figure it out. I couldn’t. Perhaps Scheris’ comment ‘one dimensional’? I guess only Scheris can tell you what that’s about, but I wouldn’t shoot to kill so quickly because it isn’t necessarily aiming what you think it is aiming at. “What do you mean?” and “Why?” are questions made up for a reason.

If you read more posts by my hand you’ll realize that my only complaint concerning Yamapi’s character in Code Blue is that Kousaku has gone too soft. I absolutely loved that prick attitude Kousaku had the first two eps… then it started to tone down. To the point the show itself lacked some pazzaz. What made that show for me was “the arrogant doctor” even if that is a little ER [George Clooney]. Has nothing to do with Yamapi the actor, but with the script. Can’t blame the Goldfish if that’s what the script says he’s supposed to: “go soft”.

DinkDonk, I let your message go through because of two reasons:
      1. I wanted Tonks to see what you wrote. Who’ll get a laugh out of it I’m sure.
      2. I personally love it when this happens, I admit I’m a little sadistic.

This will never be your blog to read if all you want to read is praise or complacency about Yamashita’s adventures. I’m simply not that kind of fan, but it doesn’t make me “a bad” fan. If you can’t appreciate that, by all means let me know how much and I’ll let you know how long I’m amused instead of bored.
