Ah, yesterday was no good because it was too hot and what do you know, I can hang out the red flag today. It’s bad this time. I either walk leaning backwards or bent forwards because standing straight is simply uncomfortable. It’s amazing how nimble you become when nothing is comfortable.

In any case I was awake early because of the roosters in the neighbourhood. “Kahkedudeldoo”, followed by “SSHUT UP” *grouchy*. I rolled over 20 times and tried placing the pillow over my ears but it’s no use at all. Once you are awakened by these animals there’s nothing that can get you back to sleep. To think that’s my Chinese sign, rooster. This is just about our only similarity:
