Despite I had a crappy mood for a friday evening, I made myself useful. I was getting annoyed by the little starlets that are on my astrology site design right now so I thought I’d make something more mature.
I’m completely in love with it’s new logo. Blended a tribal with the D and it just worked for me. XD. You can see why I’m loved by Communications managers 
If only they’d stop throwing folders out by accident hahaha.
Right now I’ve got 2 issues with it.
- I’m unfamiliar with typography-like layouts and my libra stellium wants to make things ‘tranquil’ to look at. I have the tendency to use pastels and I always have to watch out it’s not too monochrome to look at.
- Next to the logo, there should be something small and non intrusive. There’s just a (too) broad empty space right now.
It’s pretty easy to have several style sheets with different colors this way, though I doubt I can get myself to do another scheme after converting this into a Wordpress theme.
I poked at a perspective option, which is why it’s tilted slightly. Isn’t that cool? Well of course the site is not going to be like that, I just got caught up fiddling with the buttons. In other news, after I used Trebuchet MS on my blog sidebar it is now officially my new favorite font. I think it’s available on all browsers, though to be sure I’ll include Lucida Grande.
Ah! Good! This cleared up my bad mood. ^o^
